Drinking water generously on a daily basis can reduce the frequency and severity of symptoms of migraine headache.
This study analyzed if the rate of intake of water is connected with the frequency of occurrence and severity of migraine headaches. Data on the water drinking habits and migraine prevalence in 256 women aged 18-45 years were obtained from self-reported dairies and validated questionnaires.
Researchers noticed that the more the quantity of water participants drank per day, the lesser the frequency and severity of migraine headaches experienced by them. This study highlights the beneficial role high daily consumption of water plays in improving the symptoms of migraine headache.
