Adhering to a proinflammatory diet may steer an individual in the direction that leads to the development of bladder cancer.
This study estimated the risk of bladder cancer based on the level of consumption of proinflammatory diets. Up to 1,355 Italian men and women enrolled for this study and provided information about their dietary preferences and bladder cancer diagnosis status.
Researchers noticed that participants on proinflammatory diets experienced a significant jump in their risk of having bladder cancer. This study hypothesized that bladder cancer is more likely to occur among followers of high inflammatory diets.
