Diets high in soy foods may protect women against endocrine-related gynecological cancers, such as ovarian and endometrial carcinomas.
The purpose of this research work was to determine the relationship between soy consumption and the incidence of endocrine-related gynecological cancers, such as endometrial and ovarian cancers. Researchers analyzed data on soy intake and ovarian and endometrial carcinogenesis obtained from 471 published literatures. They discovered that regular soy food eaters had slim chances of developing ovarian and endometrial cancers. The findings of this meta-analysis suggest that low ovarian and endometrial cancer risks are associated with frequent consumers of soy foods.
