This study analyzed the correlation between physical activity and an individual's odds of becoming hypertensive using a meta-analytic approach. Data from over 350,000 persons who took part in 29 studies were utilized for this meta-analysis.
Researchers noted that the greater the level of physical activity participants engaged in, the lower their chances of suffering from hypertension. This study suggested that individuals who want to improve their odds of staying free from hypertension should adopt a physically active lifestyle.
