This research work studied the dairy-testicular cancer connection hypothesis. Researchers examined health and nutritional data from over 1,000 males.
The team of investigators noticed that participants who preferred consuming generous amounts of dairy foods as adolescents faced increased risk of developing testicular cancer as adults. The testicular cancer promoting actions of dairy foods were attributed to their high content of fat and galactose. This study pointed out that fondness for dairy foods during adolescence may make a male more likely to acquire testicular cancer during adulthood.
