Coffee lovers may be highly liable to suffer from fractures.
This study examined the correlation between fondness for coffee and the propensity to fracture a bone using a meta-analytic approach. Researchers conducted a meticulous meta-analysis on data drawn out from 10 studies involving 214,059 participants and 9,597 cases.
Researchers found out that coffee drinkers had high probability of breaking a bone compared to non-drinkers. According to this study, the risk of suffering from fracture went up by 3.5% in participants who drank an extra cup of coffee per day. This meta-analysis suggests that coffee drinkers may be highly prone to fracturing their bones.
