Women who enjoy consuming fried foods may have a high tendency to develop benign breast disease.
This study analyzed the correlation between the intake of fried dishes and the subsequent development of benign breast disease. Researchers matched frequency of fried food consumption with the occurrence of benign breast disease in a study population comprising of over 200 women.
Researchers noticed that regular ingestion of fried foods resulted in an increased risk of benign breast disease, but not breast cancer. This study reveals that fondness for fried foods may fuel the development of benign breast disease.
