Frequent consumption of mushroom may brighten a woman's chances of holding breast cancer at bay.
This meta-analysis investigated the association between high dietary ingestion of mushroom and a woman's chances of being diagnosed with breast cancer. Data from 10 studies that examined 6,890 cases of breast cancer were included in this meta-analysis.
Data analysis revealed that the risk of developing breast cancer fell with increase in the rate of consumption of mushroom. This study suggests that women who want to minimize their risk of breast cancer should add more mushroom to their diet.
