This research work examined whether devout eaters of ultra-processed foods are at risk of developing cancer. Researchers collated and studied data obtained from eligible studies.
Researchers found out that ultra-processed foods through their obesity-promoting properties and carcinogenic components facilitated the formation of cancerous cells and tumors in different parts of the body. This study demonstrated that indulgence in ultra-processed foods might be a risk factor for the development of cancer.
