This study determined whether high dietary ingestion of fruits and vegetables could be beneficial in the prevention of primary headaches. Researchers reviewed the dietary and medical records of 83,214 university students from Iran.
Researchers noted that avid consumption of fruits and vegetables lessened the risk of developing primary headaches. The findings of this study emphasize the important role a high fruit and vegetable diet play in the prevention of primary headaches.
