This study looked at how dietary intake of fruits and vegetables influences the risk of stroke. Researchers monitored the eating habits and incidence of stroke in a study group comprising of 93 patients with stroke and 60 individuals without any record of the disease.
Researchers discovered that generous consumption of fruits and vegetables conferred individuals with lower odds of stroke. The findings of this study indicate that compliance with high fruit and vegetable diet may help guard against the onset of stroke.
