Low risk of symptomless diverticular disease is associated with vegetarians.
This research work studied the connection between adopting a vegetarian lifestyle and the probability of having symptomless diverticular disease. Researchers looked at the dietary and hospital records of both vegetarians and non-vegetarians.
Researchers discovered that vegetarians had less chances of coming down with symptomless diverticular disease compared to non-vegetarians. The results of this study suggest that non-vegetarians may be at risk of developing symptomless diverticular disease.
