I would like to point out that I do not follow or advocate traditional diabetes control methods or diets. I have found that carbohydrates and natural sugars are not a problem with diabetes. The issue is fats, which induce insulin resistance. High glycemic foods, carbs and sugars are just whistle-blowers on insulin resistance induced by fats and animal products.
Off the top of my head, one of my blogs that mentions meals can be found here: https://www.drcarney.com/blog/condition-related/insulin-resistance-insulin-sensitivity
I am also in the process of writing a book on my method. It is called, "Synchronous Push-Pull Type-1 Diabetes Control". I'm writing it in my spare time which is taking longer than I had hoped, but it is progressing...
