Do cranberries help prevent urinary tract infections?

Adequate intake of cranberries may be a viable dietary approach for preventing urinary tract infections.

This research work investigated the hypothesis that fondness for cranberries can help reduce an individual's risk of contracting urinary tract infections (UTIs). Researchers studied data and evidence obtained from eligible studies.

Researchers observed a favorable association between greater consumption of cranberries and lower rates of urinary tract infections. This study pointed out that generous ingestion of cranberries may offer individuals significant protection against urinary tract infections.
