The association of dietary inflammatory index with sleep outcomes: A systematic review
Generous consumption of anti-inflammatory diets may tilt the odds of enjoying good quality sleep in favor of an individual.
This meta-analysis examined the findings of previous studies that focused on the impact of eating anti-inflammatory foods on the duration and quality of sleep. A total of 14 studies was included in this meta-analysis.
Researchers found out that sticking to an anti-inflammatory diet promoted longer duration and high quality sleep. "This systematic review indicated that following an anti-inflammatory diet could potentially lead to an improvement in the sleep outcomes," the authors concluded.
