Association between dietary vitamin C intake and migraine in adults: A cross-sectional study of the National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey

Embracing a diet packed with foods high in vitamin C may favor migraine prevention in men and women.

This study determined whether an association exists between dietary intake of vitamin C and an individual's chances of having migraine. Researchers gathered nutritional and health data from 702 patients with migraine and 3,399 healthy individuals. 

Researchers observed that regular consumption of vitamin C-containing foods diminished the risk of migraine. This study emphasized the important role foods rich in vitamin C play in the prevention of migraine in men and women.
