Potential Benefits of Dietary Fibre Intervention in Inflammatory Bowel Disease

Consistent consumption of foods high in fiber may help hinder the development of inflammatory bowel disease.

This study was carried out to confirm the protective effect of a high fiber diet against inflammatory bowel disease (IBD). Researchers gathered data and evidence from relevant studies.

Data analysis revealed that habitual intake of fiber-rich foods increased the odds of preventing inflammatory bowel disease in men and women. This study emphasized the beneficial role fiber-containing foods play in curbing the development of inflammatory bowel disease.
