The anti-obesogenic effects of dietary berry fruits: A review

Eating berries may help promote weight loss and prevent obesity.

This study investigated the hypothesis that dietary intake of berries may help reduce the incidence of obesity. Researchers reviewed data and evidence from human and animal studies. 

Data analysis showed that greater consumption of berries is associated with a significant decline in the prevalence of obesity in both humans and animals. This study suggested that encouraging the ingestion of berries may help combat the obesity pandemic currently ravaging the world.
