L-Shaped Associations Between Composite Dietary Antioxidant Index and Hearing Loss: A Cross-Sectional Study From the National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey

Dietary intake of antioxidants may help curb the onset of hearing loss in men and women.

This study clarified the correlation between high compliance with antioxidant-rich foods and an individual's propensity to suffer from hearing loss. Researchers compared dietary preferences with the prevalence of hearing loss among hundreds of men and women who took part in the National Health and Nutrition Examination Study.

Researchers detected a strong connection between increased ingestion of antioxidant-containing foods and reduced risk of hearing loss. The findings of this study emphasized the potential benefits of consuming foods packed with antioxidants in lowering the incidence of hearing loss in men and women.
