Fried food and prostate cancer risk: systematic review and meta-analysis.
Men who are frequent consumers of fried foods are highly vulnerable to prostate cancer.
This study evaluated the association between the consumption of fried foods and prostate cancer development risk by meta-analysis. Four case-control studies that examined 4,856 subjects were included in this meta-analysis. Researchers found out that high consumption of fried foods increased the risk of developing prostate cancer by 35%.The findings of this meta-analysis reveal that generous intake of fried foods may promote and accelerate the growth of cancerous cells and tumors in the prostate gland.
