Association between physical activity and infertility: a comprehensive systematic review and meta-analysis
Physically active partners may have a low tendency to suffer from infertility.
This study conducted a meta-analysis of previously published studies that assessed the incidence of infertility based on the level of physical activity. Data from 10 studies involving over 700,000 participants were examined for this meta-analysis.
Researchers noted that engaging in moderate to high level physical activity slashed the risk of infertility significantly. This study emphasizes the important role adequate physical activity plays in the prevention of infertility.
