The association between coffee consumption and bladder cancer in the bladder cancer epidemiology and nutritional determinants (BLEND) international pooled study.
Regular consumption of coffee may promote the development of bladder cancer.
This research work studied the link between the intake of coffee and the occurrence of bladder cancer. Researchers analyzed dietary and medical records obtained from 5,911 bladder cancer patients and 16,172 healthy individuals.
Researchers discovered that higher consumption of coffee correlated with rising risk of bladder cancer in both smokers and non-smokers. The findings of this study reveal that coffee drinkers may be highly vulnerable to bladder cancer.
