This study focused on the impact physical activity has on gestational diabetes risk during pregnancy. Researcher conducted a comprehensive meta-analysis on data culled from eligible studies.
Researchers found out physically active pregnant women had lower risk of having gestational diabetes mellitus than their sedentary counterparts. The results of this study indicated that engaging in physical activities may help shield pregnant women from gestational diabetes mellitus.
