Nut intake and stroke risk: a dose response meta-analysis of prospective cohort studies.
Regular intake of nuts may significantly cut down stroke risk.
This research work examined the relationship between the dietary ingestion of nuts and the incidence of stroke. Researchers analyzed data obtained from 14 cohort studies. They observed that high intake of nuts reduced stroke risk. The findings of this meta-analysis reveal that generous consumption of nuts may help guard against the occurrence of stroke.
