This study evaluated the correlation between the intake of fruits and the odds of dying from stroke. Researchers utilized data extracted from the 2017 Global Burden of Disease Study.

Researchers found a surge in stroke mortality rates among low consumers of fruits. The findings of this study suggest that increasing the frequency of fruit consumption may help to decrease the risk of dying from stroke.
