Cigarette smoking and bladder cancer.
Cigarette smoking may increase an individual's susceptibility to bladder cancer.
This study investigated the cigarette smoking-bladder cancer connection hypothesis. Researchers examined the smoking habits of 337 bladder cancer patients and 392 healthy persons.
Researchers discovered that cigarette smoking promoted the formation of cancerous cells and tumors in the bladder. The results of this study demonstrated that smokers may be highly prone to develop bladder cancer.
