Neuroprotective effects of berry fruits on neurodegenerative diseases

Eating generous portions of berry fruits regularly may help thwart the development of neurodegenerative diseases, such as Alzheimer's and Parkinson disease.

This study evaluated the hypothesis that devout consumption of berry fruits may help guard against the occurrence of neurodegenerative diseases. Dietary and health data from eligible scientific publications were used for this study.

Researchers found a strong connection between dietary intake of berry fruits and reduced risk of several neurodegenerative diseases, including Alzheimer's and Parkinson disease. This study recommended that individuals who want to brighten their chances of keeping different neurodegenerative diseases at bay should add more berry fruits to their diets.
