Physical activity reduces breast cancer risk: a case-control study in Tunisia
Exercising regularly may help with breast cancer prevention.
This study examined the influence of physical activity on a woman's probability of developing breast cancer. Researchers assessed the level of physical activity of 400 cancer-free Tunisian women in comparison with that of 400 females diagnosed with breast cancer.
Researchers observed a marked reduction of breast cancer risk among physically active women. Adopting a physically active lifestyle may exert a protective effect against breast cancer.
