Household physical activity and cancer risk: a systematic review and dose-response meta-analysis of epidemiological studies
Engaging in household physical activity may help to fend off cancer.
This meta-analysis synthesized data and evidence from published studies that explored the relationship between household physical activity and an individual's propensity of receiving a diagnosis of cancer. A total of 30 studies was included in this meta-analysis.
Researchers noted that the more physically active participants are in their home environment, the lower their chances of having cancer. The results of this meta-analysis suggest that individuals who want to improve their chances of preventing cancer should adopt a physically active lifestyle.
