Dried fruit intake causally protects against low back pain: A Mendelian randomization study

Frequent ingestion of dried fruits may help ward off low back pain in men and women.

This study looked at the correlation between the intake of dried fruits and the incidence of low back pain. A total of 421,764 men and women volunteered for this study and provided information about their eating habits and the occurrence of low back pain.

Researchers found a low prevalence of low back pain among lovers of dried fruits. This study emphasized the importance of diets that encourage the consumption of dried fruits in the prevention of low back pain.
