Does Garlic Reduce Risk of Colorectal Cancer? A Systematic Review
Adequate intake of garlic may help guard against the onset of colorectal cancer.
The purpose of this study was to undertake a systematic meta-analysis on the relationship between frequent ingestion of garlic and colorectal cancer risk. Researchers studied data obtained from both human and animal studies.
Researchers discovered that the more garlic people ate, the better protected they are from colorectal cancer. The findings of this meta-analysis indicate that regular intake of garlic may be associated with colorectal cancer risk reduction in men and women.
