A case-control study in France showing that a pro-inflammatory diet is associated with a higher risk of breast cancer
Women who indulge in pro-inflammatory foods may be prone to suffering from breast cancer.
This study evaluated the breast cancer-promoting effects of pro-inflammatory diets. The study population was made up of 872 French women diagnosed with breast cancer and another 966 adult females without the disease.
Researchers noticed a high rate of breast cancer among women fond of consuming pro-inflammatory foods. This study showed that cultivating the habit of eating pro-inflammatory foods may make women more likely to receive a diagnosis of breast cancer.
