Marijuana might be a risk factor for cancer of the head and neck.

This study determined if there is a connection between marijuana use and the occurrence of cancer in the neck and neck. Researchers tracked the marijuana usage habits and the incidence of head and neck cancers among 349 men and women.

Researchers noted that users of marijuana faced increased risk of acquiring cancers associated with the head and neck region. Evidence from this study support the notion that marijuana use may promote the formation of cancerous cells and tumors in the head and neck.
