Sedentary behaviour in relation to ovarian cancer risk: a systematic review and meta-analysis
Being physically inactive may increase a woman's predisposition to ovarian cancer.
This research work examined the association between living a sedentary lifestyle and the subsequent development of ovarian cancer in women. Researchers performed a meticulous meta-analysis on data drawn out from 7 studies.
Researchers noted a significant rise in ovarian cancer risk among physically inactive women. This study adds to the long list of studies supporting the notion that sedentary lifestyle may be a contributing factor to the development of ovarian cancer in women.
