Effect of alcohol consumption on breast cancer: probabilistic bias analysis for adjustment of exposure misclassification bias and confounders
The likelihood of developing breast cancer may be stacked against women who are frequent users of alcohol.
This study explored the impact of alcohol intake on breast cancer incidence in women. Researchers analyzed the alcohol consumption habits of 932 patients with breast cancer and 1,000 women without a history of cancer.
Researchers identified a strong association between heightened ingestion of alcohol and greater risk of breast cancer. The findings of this study showed that fondness for alcohol may lead to the development of breast cancer in women.
