Soy Isoflavones and Breast Cancer Risk: A Meta-analysis
Consuming generous portions of soy foods may help women to fend off breast cancer.
This meta-analysis investigated the soy food-prostate cancer association. Researchers compiled data from relevant previously published studies.
Data analysis revealed higher intake of soy foods was associated with lower risk of breast cancer in pre-menopausal and post-menopausal women. Evidence from this study support a protective association between soy food consumption and breast cancer occurrence.
