Pro-Inflammatory Diet as a Risk Factor for Stomach Cancer: Findings from a Multicenter Study in Central and Western China
The likelihood of suffering from stomach cancer may be high among lovers of pro-inflammatory foods.
This research work studied how dietary choices affect the burden of stomach cancer. Researchers matched the inflammatory potential of a diet with the rate of occurrence of stomach cancer in a cohort of 1,162 Chinese men and women.
Researchers found out avid consumption of pro-inflammatory foods drove up the risk of stomach cancer in men and women. This study arrived at the conclusion that regular ingestion of pro-inflammatory foods may lead to the development of stomach cancer.
