Cruciferous vegetables intake and risk of prostate cancer: a meta-analysis.
High cruciferous vegetable diet may exert a protective effect against prostate cancer.
The aim of this study was to analyze the association between frequent intake of cruciferous vegetables and the odds of developing prostate cancer. Researchers compiled data from 13 studies.
Researchers observed that avid consumption of cruciferous vegetables resulted in lower risk of prostate cancer. This study suggests that men who want to reduce their risk of prostate cancer should add more cruciferous vegetables to their diet.
