Smoking and Prostate Cancer: A Systematic Review.

​Tobacco smoking may improve a man's chances of developing and dying from prostate cancer.

​This research work studied the effect of tobacco smoking on prostate cancer development and mortality risk. Researchers conducted a meticulous meta-analysis on data obtained from eligible studies.

Researchers discovered that cigarette smoking correlated with high prostate cancer development and mortality risk. Data from this study indicate that tobacco smoking may promote the formation and spread of cancerous cells and tumors in the prostate.
