This study examined how the consumption of red and processed meats affects the risk of having stroke. Researchers used data drawn out from 7 studies involving 201,730 cases of stroke.
Researchers discovered that habitual intake of red and processed meats boost the likelihood of experiencing a stroke. The results of this study support the notion that high dietary ingestion of red and processed meats is a risk factor for stroke.
