Eating a diet rich in healthful plant foods may hinder the development of prostate cancer.

This study examined whether adopting a plant-based dietary lifestyle can protect men against prostate cancer. Researchers took a detailed look at the diets of 40,584 cancer-free adult males in comparison with that of 6,655 men diagnosed with prostate cancer.

Researchers observed a low proportion of prostate cancer among men on healthy plant-based diets. The findings of this study pointed out that consuming healthful plant foods may provide men with strong shield against prostate cancer.
