Cigarette Smoking and Mortality in Patients With Pancreatic Cancer: A Systematic Review and Meta-analysis

Cigarette smoking may increase death toll from pancreatic cancer.

This meta-analysis studied the connection between cigarette smoking and mortality from pancreatic cancer. Researchers examined data from more than 2.5 million persons who took part in 20 studies. 

Researchers discovered that cigarette smoking elevated an individual's risk of dying from pancreatic cancer. Based on the evidence from this study, it can be concluded that smokers may have high tendency to suffer from deaths arising from pancreatic cancer.
