Relationship between alcohol consumption and the risks of liver cancer, esophageal cancer, and gastric cancer in China: Meta-analysis based on case-control studies
The odds of developing liver, esophageal, and stomach cancer may be stacked against alcohol consumers.
This study investigated the connection between alcohol intake and the odds of developing liver, esophageal, and gastric (stomach) cancer. Researchers conducted a meticulous meta-analysis on data obtained from 26 studies.
Researchers identified a positive relationship between alcohol drinking and increased risk of liver, esophageal, and stomach cancer. The results of this study suggest that alcohol consumers may be highly prone to come down with gastric, esophageal, and liver cancer.
